Gardening with the Green Moms

Janelle Sorensen
Wednesday, May 27, 2009

This past weekend’s weather couldn’t have been more perfect. And, while I had been dreaming all week of getting dirty in my gardens, the weekend hit and I just felt like relaxing and playing with my kids. That’s just how it happens sometimes.

Even though I spent very little time actually gardening, I did read this month’s Green Moms Carnival all about Gardening with the Green Moms. Sommer, The Green and Clean Mom, hosted this month and you should definitely check it out. There are great tips, funny stories, and she actually posted pictures of all the mommy bloggers who participated – so it feels a little more like a real chat with friends instead of “just” reading some blogs. Well done, Sommer (and all the other great green gardeners!)

Check out four of my favorite tips for gardening and visit me over at The Gardenaut this summer where I’ll be sharing stories about gardening with my family.

Go ahead! Get dirty (it’s good for you and your kids)!

A well laid roof garden is definitely the eco way to go, even better if you can get free fruit and veg!

Thanks for your information.  I didn’t know about this Green Moms carnival, whether it is more useful for the gardening.  I will go through this for the great gardening tips.
