Editor’s Note: Happy Thanksgiving! We hope everyone has a wonderful, healthy holiday! In the spirit of gratitude, we wanted to share how thankful we are for you and how our community has touched each of us this year. Thank you!

Rachel Lincoln Sarnoff, Executive Director and CEO: I am thankful for each and every parent who has reached out to us in the past year to tell us how much Healthy Child Healthy World has transformed their lives. Through phone, email or blog, I am privileged to hear these stories nearly every day, and they serve as personal inspiration. I feel blessed to be a part of such an amazing community, and truly believe that together we are creating a parenting revolution.

Janelle Sorensen, Chief Communications Officer: Where do I begin? Healthy Child has the most amazing community - from our stellar blogger network, Parent Ambassadors, and virtual volunteers and interns to our passionate Moms on a Mission, boards, and nonprofit allies - I cannot thank all of you enough. We have a small staff, so your support and time are invaluable to us. I also have the pleasure of interacting with our online community - a force to be reckoned with! You make me laugh, you make me stop and think, you teach me, you support me, you are incredible! To each and every one of you - thank you!

Jessica Marie Little, Development Manager: 'Community' is quite the buzz word these days. Every nonprofit or company has one, wants one, or definitely needs one. They come in all shapes and sizes with some being more active than others. Why is Healthy Child so lucky? Because, of course, I think we have best! My conversations with Elana, Amy, Facebook & Twitter users, and countless phone calls give me confidence that we are making a difference for our children's health. I was so inspired by everyone's countless DIY home renovations that I undertook my first one, making a light fixture for my new apartment, and I have also cut down to just vinegar and baking soda for cleaning. Just like many of you, I make one small step at a time; I am so thankful for your support. Wishing you and your family love and warmth on Thanksgiving!

Carly Harrill, Strategic Partnerships Manager: I am thankful to work with forward-thinking entrepreneurs and brand partners that truly care about children's health and transforming the way we look at the things we expose ourselves to every day. They know that we deserve and demand better, and collectively, are ensuring that we have safer, more affordable choices.

Anh Van Nguyen, Communications and Programs Coordinator: I'm thankful to have been able to witness the passion and dedication of all the moms out there who work tirelessly for their children's safety and health - especially ones who have hosted a Healthy Home Party. It helps me see that our work is making an impact in the world and keeps me motivated in spreading our mission.

Michelle Jue, Public Relations and Marketing Manager: Every week I answer phone calls or open emails that open my eyes to how many moms are out there looking for answers and ways to eliminate risks in their homes and bodies. I've talked to countless moms, whose tears drove me to tears, moms who were desperate to know if choices they have made are harming their children. I, myself, am a mother of two and I find myself in their shoes too often. They remind me every day about why I need to put thought into the decisions that I make, such as what to feed my children, or what to use to clean the sink. I greatly appreciate the wisdom and experience that all of you wise and caring moms have shared with me, and your outpouring of support and passion to create a healthier environment for our growing children.
