How Far Would You Push A Stroller To Protect Your Child?
Expert Opinion

On August 10th, moms across the country will join together, pushing strollers, to make a very important point: We shouldn’t have to worry about toxic chemicals in our homes, drinking water and environment!
Will you join us? You won’t need to walk far - it’s not a statement of endurance (though I’m sure you’d go miles and miles to protect your child). You’ll just meet-up, maybe fill out some post cards, let your kids dress up in red capes (to make the point that we need some superheroes in Congress to protect our health), and generally have some fun for a good cause.
Let’s make it loud and clear that we want Congress to protect us from chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects, asthma, and other serious illnesses!
Experts across the board; including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the American Nurses Association, the American Public Health Association, and the 2010 President's Cancer Panel; have expressed the need to better regulate chemicals. The time to act is NOW.

This is a brilliant idea. Nothing like getting the rank and file middle aged tax payer out of the street to express opinion and outrage. The time to think about reducing the mercury in our deep waters and the chemicals in drinking water has long since past. Time to act and time to organize somethink like this in my state!
