Rather than answer any questions, this post has raised questions and confused me immensely. I have a Reverse Osmosis water filtration system fitted under my sink, It comes with a separate tap which dispenses the filtered water. Do I need to worry about lead leaching into the water from this tap? (which would completely invalidate the purpose of fitting such a system in the first place) or is the original query referring to something entirely different - ie an outside spigot tap, coming from her well? (In which case I would have expected the RO system to filter out any lead deposits).
Please help, as I am now genuinely worried!
