The search is on! We are looking for the 2010 Mom on a Mission. It will be hard to top last years winner, Shelby Rodriguez, but we know there are tons of parents creating remarkable changes to protect children’s health in their communities.

Join us Tuesday August 17 at 6pmPST/9pmEST as we unite with Stroller Strides to cohost and share Mom on a Mission stories, tips for community advocacy, and steps for you to become the 2010 Mom on a Mission. We’ll be chatting with:

Shelby Rodriguez, our 2009 Mom on a Mission winner, who successfully halted harmful tar roofing applicators in her community. Read her inspirational story.
Lisa Frack who is with Family Forward Oregon, Environmental Working Group, and Activistas. Lisa has a background in grassroots activism, a masters degree in public policy, and a strong belief that all children can and should be free from harmful toxic chemicals.
Robyn O’Brien who is author of “The Unhealthy Truth,” founder of the Allergy Kids Foundation and has appeared in the New York Times as “food’s Erin Brockovich”, in Forbes Women as one of “20 Inspiring Women to Follow on Twitter”, in SHAPE as one of Ten Women Shaping the World, and by the Discovery Channel’s Planet Green as a “Visionary”.
Lisa Druxman, a nationally recognized speaker and author and founder of Stroller Strides, a national program aimed at helping moms achieve their ultimate potential, both physically and emotionally.
