Ten of my favorite bloggers have teamed up to raise money for two lucky charities (with your help, one of them could be Healthy Child)!
Lighter Footstep, The Good Human, Twilight Earth, Grass Stain Guru, My Green Side, The Smart Mama, A Little Greener Every Day, Fake Plastic Fish, Allies Answers, and Natural Papa have selected five charities (including Healthy Child) and are asking people to donate one dollar and vote for their favorite charity. The two charities with the most votes will receive all the money. The fundraiser starts today and will run for two weeks.
They are hoping that by asking for only $1 (of course you can give more) from as many people as they collectively can through their virtual networks, they can raise a significant amount of money to help a charity through these difficult economic times.
Just one dollar. But a whole lotta people.
So please visit one of their sites (or bookmark all of them because they’re fantastic blogs). Donate a dollar and place your vote.
Then, spread the word through every channel you have. That’s the power of a fundraiser like this, people telling people telling more people. Together we make a difference.
