Tip 48: Toilet Solution: Baking Soda and Brush

Toilet bowl cleaners are often very toxic. Try using baking soda instead and clean with a toilet brush. Before cleaning with your toilet brush, you can try letting white vinegar sit in the bowl or you  also can use borax and lemon juice.

Splendid suggestion.  I keep hearing white vinegar is a good weed killer, and has other uses.  This is a good one, and I think, more organically natural, including the baking soda.  Wonder if there’s any downside if millions of us switched from the chemistry we’re trusting to these two inexpensive products.
