Tip 48: Toilet Solution: Baking Soda and Brush
Jennifer Taggart
Monday, November 13, 2006
Toilet bowl cleaners are often
very toxic. Try using baking soda instead and clean with a toilet brush. Before
cleaning with your toilet brush, you can try letting white vinegar sit in the
bowl or you also can use borax and lemon juice.

Splendid suggestion. I keep hearing white vinegar is a good weed killer, and has other uses. This is a good one, and I think, more organically natural, including the baking soda. Wonder if there’s any downside if millions of us switched from the chemistry we’re trusting to these two inexpensive products.
