I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS) and so have to be very careful with what products I use in all areas,,,not just cleaning.  I tried the Shaklee products, and like another person I know with MCS, I react to them.  The safest products I’ve found, and have used for years with no side affects, are products from a company named Solutions 4 You.  (web site www.safersoaps.com). Their Ultra Safe product is so safe I use it for cleaning as well as brushing my teeth, washing hands, I even cleanse my face with it.  It is anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal, all in one product….but, doesn’t kill the good bacteria.  Because you can buy the concentrate of Ultra Safe and dilute it to the strength you prefer it is the most economical I have found as well.

I also use baking soda and distilled white vinegar as well.

I have to agree with Ryan, there is no better , safer,  more economical AND more effective way of cleaning your house than the Shaklee Get Clean product line.
Shaklee was “green” before it was popular to be green.Yes, you can clean with baking soda , vinegar etc but Shaklee BH2 is still cheaper and smells sooo much better(no smell) than vinegar..
I have used the products for over 30 years!

For the most part I use Baking Soda, Vinegar, and water to clean things up in the house. I do not spray air freshers or spray things to make my furniture and carpets smell better, all I do is open windows and let the fresh air in. A good vacuum will freshen your carpets and if not sprinkle some baking soda, let it sit for a moment, and then vacuum it up.

I use the Shaklee Get Clean line of products I feel they are the safest and most inexpensive way to clean your house. Shaklee is a company that has been around since 1956 and they introduced there All Natural product Basic H in 1960 before anyone knew what green was all about. Many companies have jumped on the bandwagon and are trying to make green products but I will stick with the company that has been producing them for over 50 years. They have everything needed to clean your house safely and effectively and if your not 100% satisfied return it for a full refund. Check out this website to buy the best green cleaning products http://greenhealthylife.myshaklee.com They have a Get Clean starter kit that sells for $176 retail and $149 if you are a member or sign up as a Gold Ambassador to receive an even better discount. This kit replaces about $3400 in products that you would normally buy from the store.

Some of my favorite non toxic cleaning tips were in an 8 week series on “green” spring cleaning with topics such as cleaning windows and window treatments, air filter replacement, painting touch ups, dusting and appliance cleaning all with non-toxic cleaners and methods.
