Thank you again for the opportunity to host a Healthy Home party. One question that many of my guest have asked after sampling the products is where can they purchase them. Especially the sanitizer wipes and the lotion. Some of the products are easier to find than others.

I forgot to mention in the survey, that the reason we chose Apr 22 to have the party is because it was earth day.
In the survey I put that I didn’t have a theme, but actually The Earth was my them.

Last October we went to a similar one, what I experienced, that such parties are not only for fun or time pass but they also provided good knowledge and information about health and cleanness. I am planning to do one at my own.

I received my Healthy Home Party kit today and I am so excited to plan my party. Thank you for all the wonderful samples and information. Having a healthy home is so important to me and I truly look forward to sharing my excitement with others.

Our Healthy Home Party was a wonderful success! Everyone came away with a pretty thorough knowledge of how to minimize the toxic chemicals in their home to make them safer for their children and pets. The kit sent by Healthy Child was a great bonus, and everyone loved the goodies. I advise anyone who wants to host a Healthy Home Party to start small, and make it as interactive as possible for the most buy-in from your audience. You will find that everyone has something to contribute, even if they don’t know much about the subject. The host should act more as a facilitator and fill in with extra knowledge that might benefit the particular subject. Make sure to make it fun--making homemade, non-toxic cleaning products or skin care products (we did fizzy foot soaks that were a hit) are a great way to end the evening!

Well our party took place yesterday afternoon as scheduled. I had 4 of my closest friends attend. It was said that it is a great introduction to looking at how to live healthier and in a toxic free environment.
My friend Jenn, which has been hearing little pieces here and there from me really liked the video and helped her understand things even better. She is a special education teacher and believes that this knowledge can help first hand. I hope to work closer with her to teach her students and possible send letters home with the parents too!
My friend Lauren went out immediately afterward to buy organic produce and less toxic dryer sheets and soap! She is very excited...she will own a new home and she would like me to host a show at her new home when they get settled in!
Sara went home to share some information about what she had learned with her mother and her mother was very excited to try the seventh generation soap!
Jenn went home to test her bathtub for lead considering it was built before the 50’s! Negative thankfully!
I printed a lot of material some of what you sent and then a lot from your site! I bought the girls reusable bags from Whole Foods and included the literature in them. I also did a drawing for 2 girls to win Preserve toothbrushes and 1 drawing for a friend to win a lead test kit. I also went to Home-depot for paint samples of the Fresh Air paint line (no VOC) to show that what is available and green is still attractive and affordable! I served California rolls and 100% juice at the party.
I want to have a party once a month […].
Thank you for making this possible! We had a great time...[…]
Thank you!

Thanks again for letting me a part of this! The women I had over left with lots of helpful information. We felt a little more in control of things we can do to help our families be ‘green’. Thanks again.

We had our meeting this morning and I think it was a huge success!!! There were 19 people at the meeting and we gave an additional 6 bags out with your information/donated items in them to the ladies that watched our children. We brought “green” food to eat like guacamole and chips, tortilla turkey roll ups in green tortillas, green grapes, green apples with caramel sauce, cucumbers and ranch, and key lime pie with water, green raspberry tea and limeade to drink. (No soda or water bottles.) :-)
After everyone got something to eat, we watched your video, which was great. Then we made homemade cleaners including your glass cleaner, all purpose cleaner and air freshener and I had four groups come up with a name and commercial for their cleaner. Next I spoke about going green from shopping to cleaning your home and we discussed the products you sent, passed out the samples/flyers, and played games to win some of the bigger items you sent. For the game, I invited different people to come up (like the pregnant moms to give away the baby bottles) and had them stand around the item placed on a small table. I asked questions from your information/video like “What recyclable numbers on the bottom of plastic bottles to reuse are safe “. The first person to grab the item and answer correctly won it.
I also made a quick lesson plan for the preschoolers to teach them about recycling so they would be a part of our “Healthy Child Healthy World” event!
Thanks again so much for all of the wonderful information that you sent for our event!!! The moms were amazed at all they received. (I also got Wal-Mart to donate reusable bags to put everything in.)
