I don’t know if my opinion is right. I am start doing a “go green” life such as: Recycle everything I can. Place labeled bins wherever my employees would need them. I Put a bin for plastic bottles/glass bottles at the register so employees don’t throw them away. Put bins for paper wherever Id be throwing away paper. I have lights that operate on motion senors for my break room, office, bathroom, etc. so that people don’t forget to turn the lights off. GI have washable hand towels for the bathroom/break room. I have a few so that if one gets dirty it can be replaced that day. Otherwise switch them out every day.

We had a great time discussing healthy changes we want to make in our households. The best part: we are all in different places of our journey to “green” and a lot of questions were posed and answered. The products were well received and I was pleasantly surprised at how familiar everyone was with the brands. The coupons and samples went quick! Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to take pictures since we were so absorbed in conversation - but the talk was contagious and we have now formed a “Healthy Chat” group that meets monthly to continue our healthy discussions. And the group is growing! We’ve added 6 more to this month and more to come for August!! Thanks for the great information! Can’t wait to do it again next year!! Ed, http://www.odlotowewakacje.com

I am a first time mom, very nervous and excited at the same time. I have been attempting to “go green” and be more natural. Being a college student on a budget sure isn’t helping right now though.

I just had my first party at a local sports center. We had a great time and everyone loved learning about Healthy Child. org and really appreciated the brochures we shared and they loved the raffle prizes. All the raffle gifts were from the kit. The sports center is looking forward to having another one. They have lots of kids in this gym and it is such a win/win.

Yes I have hosted a healthy party already. Way back in high school, my teacher in our cooking class gave us this project about entrepreneurship. She wanted it to be presented in a unique way. She wanted us to have our groups. So yeah, we cooked healthy dishes, we invited our principal, councilor, and some grade level pupils. I think they enjoyed t though because our teacher gave us the highest grade ever!

Thank you for the opportunity to host a healthy home party. Everything provided for the party from the pamphlets to the samples was very informative.

I ordered my healthy Home box in December. Now I’m planning on having my party this April but all my coupons for Seventh Generation and Happy Family Foods are expired. Is there a way to get more?

Yup, I also attended a healthy home party. I like that and want to know what you thought of it!

I hosted my first HHP this last wednesday. I incorporated my work with chiropractic marketing tools for fellow DC’s… and it was a great success. Many new friends, and everyone benefitted. I will definitely do it again. Already have another meetup scheduled for April.

I hosted my Healthy Home party at work! My house is way toooo small for any hosting, so I thought I hit everyone at work up with some new healthy ideas in January, while New Year’s resolutions were still freshly made. I set up a big display at my desk, which is in a high-traffic area, and left it there all week. I fanned the coupons out into big circles and tacked them on to my walls to draw attention, put out healthy snacks, and invited everyone who showed interest to stop by and do some sampling! I wasn’t sure how it would work out, but I had a great response and got the HCHW message out to way more people than I ever could have at home. Thanks so much for the opportunity!

I just hosted a HH Party and it went well. Sure there were some hang-ups due to the fact I don’t throw parties that often (actually, ever!). But it was really nice that our local Trader Joes also got involved with some awesome food coupons! And the kit was awesome, by the way. Everything from that standpoint was easy to understand and discuss. Overall, it was a good party :)

I just hosted my HHP this past Saturday and it was a HIT! I was so pleased at how everyone in attendance responded. They were so grateful for the opportunity to attend and were so interested in all of the products on display. Discussions were incredible after the viewing of the DVD! Everyone had a wonderful time and were so pleased when they left with samples and coupons!

Can anyone that has hosted a party tell what comes in the box? I would like to order a box but I would like to know what comes in it so I can know what to go buy before the party.Thank you.

Hosted my 2nd Healthy Home party on Thursday evening, June 17th and it was a success! We had a great time discussing healthy changes we want to make in our households. Thank you for your great efforts to educate parents and make me somehow part of it. I hosted a Healthy Home Party and it went great. With the left over samples and brochures, I made little packages to give away to parents that could not assist. Sorry, no pictures. I was so excited, I forgot to take any with my friends.

Just wanted to thank you all for the opportunity to host the House party! It was a great success and I really think people left with a lot of important information. The raffle prizes were fantastic and coupons worked out great for me. Thanks again and I look forward to next year to host again!

I just hosted my party in conjunction with the Family Fun Day at my daughter’s pre-school. The kids played outside and we all enjoyed the samples and treats. Parents walked away more informed and thrilled with their coupons. This is such a great idea :)

I hosted my second party today. It was laid back, on a Saturday 11a-12:30p with kids welcome. I should’ve read these comments before I hosted to seek donations for the event. I gathered gift bags that I already had or that my MIL had & used those as the bags to hold all of the information for guests. I shopped at Trader Joe’s & my local health store, Good 4 U Nutrition, for the organic foods. Fruits, veggies, hummus, organic mac n cheese, & 2 desserts were a big hit. I had 3 chiropractic friends attend & they added tidbits about keeping kids healthy & teaching them to make good food choices. It was really fun!

I just received my kit today! I couldn’t believe how much stuff is in there! I’m so excited to host my party!

I had the party at work. I gave out samples and coupons and everyone was so interested in the products and what we all can do to help our children and ourselves become a healthy, chemical free generation. I loved the products and some I had never even heard of. I especially like the ionator. It is my new best friend. I never have to buy chemicals again and never have to have my child breathe in such when I am cleaning. He loves that he can now help me clean. Thank you so much for the information and the resources to get this message out to the public.

I had my first party last night and it was such a success!! We had 17 people. I showed the video on this website to start. Then had inroductions and made a short power point of some facts and information I found really suprising and important. Also, some of the facts on the video are outdated. We then watched the 15 minute video. Best part was I then had the owner of a local organic farm give a talk on organic food. Everyone enjoyed the evening and said they got much from it. At the end, I gave out reusable bags a health food store donated to put their samples and coupons in. Trader Joes donated some food and cleaning supplies. I bought a few more of their items and made sure everyone went home with a “gift”. Very best part for me was to be in a room with people who care about the same things I do. Two women said they want to have their own party.
Great job HCHW! Thanks for providing this medium for parents to get together and learn. It beats a tupperware party!!!

HCHW sent me a Klean Kanteen a year or so with a note thanking me for my years of support. What a wonderful and unexpected surprise. It goes with me to the gym and I give the stink eye to folks with plastic bottles, telling them they really should pry open their wallets and invest and educate themselves! Best to all, Larry in Dallas

It makes introducing the concepts to your friends and LUNA Moms Club members so easy! We capped the night off with organic wines and making two simple household cleaners. Thanks Healthy Child Healthy World and all the fab sponsors!

Everyone came away with a pretty thorough knowledge of how to minimize the toxic chemicals in their home to make them safer for their children and pets. The kit sent by Healthy Child was a great bonus, and everyone loved the goodies…

This is my third year hosting a Healthy Home Party. As always, the materials and donors delivered! And a special shout out to our local Happy Family rep - Angela K. - for her organics on a budget talk! The best part about the event is the simple five steps. It makes introducing the concepts to your friends and LUNA Moms Club members so easy! We capped the night off with organic wines and making two simple household cleaners. Thanks Healthy Child Healthy World and all the fab sponsors!

I had my healthy child party last Friday night July 17th and it was awesome!!!! I really appreciate the information and products that you guys sent to host this party. My guests were incredibly surprised with the information, the products and such that was sent. They realized that a lot of companies truly are passionate about making sure our homes are as healthy and toxin free as possible. It was very well rounded with the 5 easy steps, and I had 2 of my friends bring along all natural products they have found to discuss and pass out samples of to further our information sharing. Keep up the good work! I would love to host a party once a year to keep the information going round, and to have more guest speakers come to share the changes in this area. Thanks again!

I was so excited to get my kit, my first party is tonight. my cousin wanted to do one at her house and I have another one set up for June 19th at a friends house not sure if I’ll have enough stuff for my party at my house!! This is a great way to spread the word!!!

Thank you again for the opportunity to host a Healthy Home party. One question that many of my guest have asked after sampling the products is where can they purchase them. Especially the sanitizer wipes and the lotion. Some of the products are easier to find than others.

I forgot to mention in the survey, that the reason we chose Apr 22 to have the party is because it was earth day.
In the survey I put that I didn’t have a theme, but actually The Earth was my them.

Last October we went to a similar one, what I experienced, that such parties are not only for fun or time pass but they also provided good knowledge and information about health and cleanness. I am planning to do one at my own.

I received my Healthy Home Party kit today and I am so excited to plan my party. Thank you for all the wonderful samples and information. Having a healthy home is so important to me and I truly look forward to sharing my excitement with others.

Our Healthy Home Party was a wonderful success! Everyone came away with a pretty thorough knowledge of how to minimize the toxic chemicals in their home to make them safer for their children and pets. The kit sent by Healthy Child was a great bonus, and everyone loved the goodies. I advise anyone who wants to host a Healthy Home Party to start small, and make it as interactive as possible for the most buy-in from your audience. You will find that everyone has something to contribute, even if they don’t know much about the subject. The host should act more as a facilitator and fill in with extra knowledge that might benefit the particular subject. Make sure to make it fun—making homemade, non-toxic cleaning products or skin care products (we did fizzy foot soaks that were a hit) are a great way to end the evening!

Well our party took place yesterday afternoon as scheduled. I had 4 of my closest friends attend. It was said that it is a great introduction to looking at how to live healthier and in a toxic free environment.
My friend Jenn, which has been hearing little pieces here and there from me really liked the video and helped her understand things even better. She is a special education teacher and believes that this knowledge can help first hand. I hope to work closer with her to teach her students and possible send letters home with the parents too!
My friend Lauren went out immediately afterward to buy organic produce and less toxic dryer sheets and soap! She is very excited…she will own a new home and she would like me to host a show at her new home when they get settled in!
Sara went home to share some information about what she had learned with her mother and her mother was very excited to try the seventh generation soap!
Jenn went home to test her bathtub for lead considering it was built before the 50’s! Negative thankfully!
I printed a lot of material some of what you sent and then a lot from your site! I bought the girls reusable bags from Whole Foods and included the literature in them. I also did a drawing for 2 girls to win Preserve toothbrushes and 1 drawing for a friend to win a lead test kit. I also went to Home-depot for paint samples of the Fresh Air paint line (no VOC) to show that what is available and green is still attractive and affordable! I served California rolls and 100% juice at the party.
I want to have a party once a month […].
Thank you for making this possible! We had a great time…[…]
Thank you!

Thanks again for letting me a part of this! The women I had over left with lots of helpful information. We felt a little more in control of things we can do to help our families be ‘green’. Thanks again.

We had our meeting this morning and I think it was a huge success!!! There were 19 people at the meeting and we gave an additional 6 bags out with your information/donated items in them to the ladies that watched our children. We brought “green” food to eat like guacamole and chips, tortilla turkey roll ups in green tortillas, green grapes, green apples with caramel sauce, cucumbers and ranch, and key lime pie with water, green raspberry tea and limeade to drink. (No soda or water bottles.) :-)
After everyone got something to eat, we watched your video, which was great. Then we made homemade cleaners including your glass cleaner, all purpose cleaner and air freshener and I had four groups come up with a name and commercial for their cleaner. Next I spoke about going green from shopping to cleaning your home and we discussed the products you sent, passed out the samples/flyers, and played games to win some of the bigger items you sent. For the game, I invited different people to come up (like the pregnant moms to give away the baby bottles) and had them stand around the item placed on a small table. I asked questions from your information/video like “What recyclable numbers on the bottom of plastic bottles to reuse are safe “. The first person to grab the item and answer correctly won it.
I also made a quick lesson plan for the preschoolers to teach them about recycling so they would be a part of our “Healthy Child Healthy World” event!
Thanks again so much for all of the wonderful information that you sent for our event!!! The moms were amazed at all they received. (I also got Wal-Mart to donate reusable bags to put everything in.)
