- Cut up two organic apples & boil for about ten minutes.
- Cook ½ cup quinoa (don’t forget to rinse!) with 1 ½ cups water, covered, for about ten minutes.
- Puree the two together in a blender, with about ¼ c. filtered boiled water.
- Freeze in ice cube tray, use within a month.
CLEAN IT
Conventionally-grown apples have some of the highest levels of pesticide residues. Opt for organic.
GREEN IT
When bringing water to a boil, remember to keep a lid on the pan. The water will come to a boil faster, reducing your use of energy.
MAKE IT FUN
Small children can press the button on the blender and older ones can help cut the apple.
