Based in San Diego, Fresh Healthy Vending has placed over 800 of their healthy food vending machines in just 12 months. Their franchises continue to grow, with machines found in 43 states across the nation, as well as in Canada. The machines have been designed to offer a fresh appeal by being brightly colored, easy to spot, and simple to use.
The Fresh Healthy Initiative, created by the company, aims to replace 1,000 unhealthy vending machines with their healthy ones. As part of doing so, they are paying $200 for every successful replacement referral.
Fresh Healthy Vending was started by Jolly Backer, a 28-year business executive who was on a mission to help ensure that his own children had access to healthy convenience foods. Today, his mission is reaching all corners of the country and helping to take on the obesity epidemic, by providing people with quick access to nutritious food options on the go!
