10 Craft Ideas to do with Candy Coloring Pages

1. Sweet-Themed Wrapping Paper

This one project is sure to add a cherry on top of your gift!

Print of a mix of different candy coloring pages and fill them with color. Make sure you’ve chosen enough to completely cover all sides of your gift.

Flip your pages candy side down and tape them all together. Wrap your present as you would with the usual store bought gift paper.

Tape a giant lollipop or candy bar to the front of your present to really tie the theme together.

2. Candy Jar Labels

Be honest, who doesn’t have some sort of sweets jar in their home! I know I’m guilty and have several.

Let’s add some labels to those jars so you can easily pick your next sugary satisfaction.

Print off as many candy shaped coloring pages as you’d like. Scale them down in size so they fit on your jar.

Add the title of the contents on each jar by either writing it onto the candy shape, with stickers, or with glitter glue.

Next, all you have to do is tape it onto your jar. Be sure to fill it up while you’re at it!

(TIP: Cover the entire candy image with tape so you’re able to wipe down the jar during cleaning and not ruin your label.)

3. Candy-Themed Party Invitations

Having a sweet birthday get together? Invite your friends with candy-themed invites!

Have your child pick out their favorite candy coloring page (or a few!). Let them color and design in any way that seems fit. After the “cooking” is done, use the open spaces to fill in party details (date, time, place, etc.). If you have a photocopying machine, make as many copies of the original as you need. If not, just repeat the designing process until there’s enough to pass out to all your family and friends.

(TIP: You may also be able to make copies at your local library for as low as 20¢ each!)

4. Candy Shop Wall Art

Do you have a little confectioner in the making? Use this project to decorate their own little pretend candy shop!

Print off and color as many candy pages as desired. You can simply pop them into an old, unused frame and hang on the wall.

If you need to create a frame, we can do that, too!

Outline the edges of your coloring page(s) with the popsicle sticks. They may need to be trimmed to ensure they fit. (Adults – please help young children with the cutting.)

Once the popsicle sticks are placed how you’d like, glue them onto the coloring sheet.

On the backside, glue either the pop can tab or string (looped) near the top. Now you can hang your new framed picture!

(TIP: Add glitter, sprinkles, gems, etc to make your candy art really delicious.)

5. Colorful Candy Coasters

No more sticky, icky mess left on your table from cups with this bright and cheery craft!

Pick out a few of your favorite candies from the options below. Print the pages out as close to 4in x 4 in as you can. Sweeten them up with some color and cut out into the shape of a square.

Glue each image onto a wooden square. Be sure to seal your new coasters with something like ModPodge to prevent any damage from wetness. You can sparkle up your project by mixing a pinch of glitter into the ModPodge before applying.

6. Custom Candy Bunting

This project ties in with the candy-themed project you’re having! (A bunting is similar to a decorative banner made of small flags.)

You’ll want to pick several tasty candy designs to make this project really pop. Print those out, but be sure to scale the size down to about half a page each. Use cardstock if you can!

Trace your bunting flag shape out around each candy design. The easiest one to work with is a triangle!

On a piece of ribbon or string, space your flags evenly apart until you reach the desired length. Glue or staple them into place.
Make several of them to place all around your party if you wish!

7. DIY Candy Notebooks

This activity will be easiest if you use a notebook that has a blank cover.

Choose any candy design(s) that make your eyes wide and tummy grumble. Make it bright, shiny, and delicious looking!

Cut out and glue the candies to the front of the notebook.

If you need to create your own notebook – take several sheets of copy paper or lined paper and fold them in half hamburger style. Place staples in the fold. Continue to make the cover as mentioned above.

Teachers: This is a great project to do with students to fill it with a recipe from each classmate for them to take home and enjoy with their families!

8. Candy-Themed Magnets

Make these for your own home or to give away as a gift! It’s sure to sweeten up anyone’s day.

Choose a candy coloring sheet below. I recommend one of the “chunkier” looking ones.

Add your pops of color and cut out. Either laminate or use packing tape to completely cover each candy piece.

Hot glue a small circle magnet or piece of a strip magnet to the back of each one.

9. Sweet Candy Bookmarks

Need a snack break, but don’t want to lose your reading place? Let’s make a darling little bookmark!

Choose a coloring page below. Add your own special touch – use glitter, gems, stickers, ribbons, etc to personalize!

Cut out your candy and glue it onto a piece of cardstock. Let it dry completely and stick it in your book.

10. Edible Candy Menu Cards

Now this project is a little more advanced. Stick with me and I promise the results will be sweet!

You may be able to buy wafer paper at a store local to you – you just have to search!

You’ll need edible markers (often found in the baking aisle or somewhere like Hobby Lobby). You can even purchase edible glitter if you wish.

Be sure to wash your hands and work on a clean surface!

Use the markers to write your menu items onto the wafer paper. To ensure they stay fresh and germ free, insert them into sealable clear bakery type bags. Once your guests view and choose from the menu, let them enjoy!
