IP Violation and Removal Policy
This policy applies to content distributed by HealthyChild via its website, healthychild.org.
1. Terminology and Definitions
The following terms in this policy have the following meanings:
- Operational Day: Any day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday when banks are open for normal business operations.
- Violation Material: Any content shared by the Corporation that is claimed or proven to infringe on Intellectual Property Rights.
- Intellectual Property Rights: Includes all patents, design rights, trademarks, business identities, copyrights, moral rights, and any related goodwill, rights in databases, domain names, and similar rights worldwide, whether registered or not.
- Notification: A formal notice received by the Corporation, informing of an alleged intellectual property violation.
2. Notification and Removal Process
While the Corporation strives to ensure that all content respects third-party Intellectual Property Rights, there may be instances where violations occur. If a third party identifies their content being used without permission, they should notify the Corporation by following the steps outlined below.

If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed, you should notify the Corporation by:
- Submitting a message using the form provided at the bottom of the page.
- Including the following details in your message:
- Your contact information.
- Details of the content you believe is infringing, such as URLs, screenshots, or other evidence.
- Specifics of the alleged violation.
- Proof of ownership or authorization to act on behalf of the rights holder.
The Corporation will acknowledge receipt of your notification within seven operational days.
4. Evaluation and Removal
Upon receiving a notification, the Corporation will conduct an initial review to assess the validity of the claim. If the complaint is deemed credible, the violating content will be removed while the Corporation investigates further or negotiates a resolution with the claimant.
If the material was provided by a third party, the Corporation will contact them to verify their rights to the content. In complex cases, legal advice may be sought.
After the initial assessment, the Corporation will inform the claimant of the outcome and discuss potential resolutions.
5. Resolving Complaints
The Corporation will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints quickly and fairly. Possible outcomes include:
- No violation found, and the content remains unchanged.
- The content remains unchanged without requiring a license fee.
- The content is used under a negotiated paid license.
- The content is modified to remove infringing elements.
- The content is removed permanently.
If a resolution is not reached, and legal action is initiated, the content will remain removed until a legal decision is made.
6. Policy Updates
The Corporation reserves the right to amend this policy as necessary or in accordance with legal requirements.
